The Fund provides additional protection for eligible decisions issued under our dispute resolution rules.
It is a safety backstop — not insurance — and applies when a member broker fails to honor a monetary award.

Coverage limit
Up to €20,000 per complaint, subject to the Fund’s available balance and applicable rules.
Eligibility
Only final awards in favor of traders against current member brokers qualify.
Trigger
Activated when a member broker fails to pay an enforceable award within the set deadline.
How it works
- You file a complaint and the case is decided under IIRA rules.
- If the decision awards you a payment and the broker does not pay, the Fund may step in.
- Payouts are limited to the award amount or the Fund cap, whichever is lower.
Exclusions
- Claims outside the scope of IIRA rules.
- Indirect, punitive, or consequential damages.
- Cases where fraud by the claimant is established.
